History
FAW Bharat Forge (Changchun) Company Limited (hereafter refer as the Company), a Joint Venture Company contributed by Bharat Forge Limited (India) and China FAW Group Corporation, was formally established on March 9, 2006. The Joint Venture was built up on the basis of former Changchun Forging Co., Ltd which was a wholly-owned subsidiary of China FAW Group Corporation. The organization was initially found in 1953 as a Forging Factory of FAW Group, and production started on July 15, 1956. On May 31, 2000 the organization was restructured from a Factory to a Company named FAW Forging Co., Ltd.
The Joint Venture Company has taken over all plant, equipments and personnel from former FAW Forging Co., Ltd., as well as the achievements accumulated through more than 50 years history. It needs to be highlighted that the company has two sets of 12500T Forging Production Lines and Hatebur AMP70, the annual production capacity of the company up to 150000 tons.
